“The armed warriors from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh led the Israelites across the Jordan, just as Moses had directed. These armed men—about 40,000 strong—were ready for battle, and the Lord was with them as they crossed over to the plains of Jericho.” – Joshua 4:12-13 NLT
Ah, it looks like I was wrong the when I said the Israelites were not battle ready. This passage obviously indicates they had an army. I clearly could have done more research before defining my thoughts. This is something to learn from. – Dylan Herring
A quote from Proverbs:
“Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the words of the wise and their riddles. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” – Proverbs 1:5-7 NLT
Without being willing to accept mistakes and learn from them, you will be a fool and remain one. Don’t be like that. Be willing to learn from your mistakes as I have done here. – Dylan Herring
The comment I made that was inaccurate was on my post called Joshua 2:24, Numbers 13:31, Numbers 14:3
