Growth to Conquer: Joshua 11:23 and Numbers 14:2-3

“So Joshua took control of the entire land, just as the Lord had instructed Moses. He gave it to the people of Israel as their special possession, dividing the land among the tribes. So the land finally had rest from war.”” – Joshua 11:23 NLT

It’s crazy to think the Israelites are here now from this:

“Their voices rose in a great chorus of protest against Moses and Aaron. “If only we had died in Egypt, or even here in the wilderness!” they complained. “Why is the Lord taking us to this country only to have us die in battle? Our wives and our little ones will be carried off as plunder! Wouldn’t it be better for us to return to Egypt?”” – Numbers 14:2-3 NLT

They were terrified of their enemies and ended up disobeying God and suffering a long time from that decision, but in the end, they did end up conquering their enemies and their land. It shows growth. What I want to impress is that we can grow as well. The things that held us back in doing what God called us to do before will eventually not hold us back anymore. So take heart in that when you fall short.
