This week on my journey towards eldership I have been working on relying on God and not giving up. We have been working a lot on the property lately and there have been a lot of projects that I have been not really sure how to do especially on Saturday and felt overwhelmed. I had to learn to deal with that feeling and continue to press on even though I didn’t understand what to do or how to do it. There was a specific project where I wanted to give it to someone else to do but one of the other cadets kept pushing me and we kept working until we finished last minute because the project we were working on had to be done on Saturday. I learned to rely more on God. It also improved my relationship with my fellow cadet which will benefit our ability to work together if we both become elders.
