“Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.” – 2 Corinthians 13:5 NLT

This is the issue with a lot of “Christians” now a days. They live their lives without testing themselves to see if they have a genuine saving faith in Christ. They don’t seek to look into the mirror to check to see if anything is spiritually wrong with them. Test what you hear. Test everything according to the Bible even if that means testing yourself against the Bible. Not knowing where your faith is at and assuming you are all good is a really dangerous place because you can miss things that are happening spiritually in your life and there is a chance that they aren’t real believers. We are finding more and more people calling themselves Christians that clearly would never do the actions they take if they truly had the Holy Spirit in them. They aren’t Christians. Check your faith and strengthen it.
