Pray Like Paul: Philippians 1:3-4

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all,” – Philippians 1:3-4 NASB2020

Paul is thankful for the Philippians and joyfully in prayer for them whenever he is actively in prayer. I don’t know about you but I think this speaks volumes to the selflessness of the prayers that Paul has towards the Philippians. Modern prayers are like a grocery list of needs asking for God fill but Paul is practically telling us to be thankful in our prayers and joyful in them for the people we pray for. We can give to God thanks and our appreciation/joy for these people instead of just a list of needs. None of this is mentioning that his prayer is for others and not just for himself. I don’t know about you but I struggle with praying too much for myself, but we clearly have a need to pray for others. Let’s be selfless together and pray for one another and thank God for one another and appreciate and be joyful for one another that God created each of us. This will surely help all of our relationships grow and develop.
