“We had previously suffered and been treated outrageously in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we dared to tell you his gospel in the face of strong opposition.” – 1 Thessalonians 2:2 NIV
In light of this passage, there is no legitimate excuse for us to not preach the gospel. Paul faced real persecution for preaching the Gospel, and we, in our modern day trials and issues, most likely will never encounter persecution to that level. If he was willing to evangelize even in that, what excuse do we have legitimate enough to not?
