Daniel could’ve easily claimed credit for the interpretation of the dream based on his own excellence. However that would be not only disingenuous but also do wrong by his relationship with God. But Daniel did right by God in giving him credit. It speaks volumes to how great God is and how he is wise and all-knowing. God’s reputation is far more important than Daniel’s since it will impact people’s faith. Don’t sabagoge God’s work for the sake of your reputation. His is more important.
