““Then the king of the South will march out in a rage and fight against the king of the North, who will raise a large army, but it will be defeated. When the army is carried off, the king of the South will be filled with pride and will slaughter many thousands, yet he will not remain triumphant. For the king of the North will muster another army, larger than the first; and after several years, he will advance with a huge army fully equipped.” – Daniel 11:11-13 NIV
It’s not over until it’s over. Not that there is ever a time to be prideful since it’s sinful, but if there ever was one, it wouldn’t be before the war is actually won. The tides of battle can drastically change and quickly at that especially in this day and age. Don’t celebrate victory until the war is fully and truly complete and the battles are over otherwise you can end up dropping your guard and swiftly get defeated. Always be on guard as a Christian and expect battles to come. Know we have victory in Christ, but don’t be so prideful to believe that means every battle is a auto win/ no battle fight that you can’t lose if you aren’t careful.
