This speaks to the awesome and fearful authority of God. This isn’t your lovey-dovey hippie Jesus that a lot of world knows him to be. He has authority and weight that causes others to do be fearful. He is both harsh and soft. He is more than that hippie Jesus and chooses to be something more than that.
