He Seeketh Reconciliation: Isaiah 35:5-6

“Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.” – Isaiah 35:5-6 NIV

God will restore things that once were broken and remove curses that once were placed on the world world. Human suffering will cease and life will have more than an abundance of blessings. The character of God is seen deeply in this passage in the idea that God wants to make right those things that aren’t. He seeks reconciliation especially with us since he loves us. We need to have an understanding that God longs for things in this world to be set right just as much, no, even more so, than we do.
