Fully Formed Thoughts: Romans 14:23

”But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.“ – Romans 14:23 NIV

Here we see the idea that if one does things with doubts in their mind they are sinning. This means that if you are unsure if something is sin, don’t do it or you will be sinning since you are doing it without faith. Instead what you should do is apply the holding principle in those times, which is to wait until you fully formed an opinion on a subject and come to a faithful answer before proceeding with the action. If you do that then you won’t worry about doubts anymore since you can make case for it
