”The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.“ – Acts 3:13-14 NIV
It’s interesting that Peter can say all of this to them and actually have them understand because of the extent of Jesus’ ministry. If Jesus’ ministry wasn’t extensive then people would’ve likely just looked at Peter and thought he was crazy and/or confused. But since Jesus went all over, they must have met him, heard of him, or had easy access to the information about Christ if they didn’t know. It was practically common knowledge. If this was to show us anything it’d be the forethought of God and how much we should trust his all encompassing plan. Whenever you encounter trials of any sort, take courage that these trials are all a part of God’s master plan and what you do has meaning.
