You can’t do much when people aren’t willing to accept God. If people close off their heart to God, then we should do all we can to preach, teach and help them. In reality if God doesn’t do anything for these people in this moment, what makes us think that we can make them into Christians when they clearly don’t want to. Paul rightly believed that the only people whose fault it was that they were not Christians and the cause of the adverse consequences to the Jews was themselves.
